Mutasa Worried About DeMbare's Lack Of Creativity
It’s getting squeaky in the 2017 Castle Lager PSL race and Dynamos coach Lloyd Mutasa is worried about his team’s lack of creativity in recent matches.
DeMbare, who are on 58 points, clash with Ngezi Platinum (57) in a top of the table clash at the Baobab on Saturday, 24 hours after log leaders FC Platinum’s battle against Harare City at Rufaro.
The other title contenders Chicken Inn play ZPC Kariba at Nyamhunga on Sunday.
But it is DeMbare who have left their supporters worried following a lackluster performance in the 1-1 draw against Tsholotsho FC.
That draw came hard on the heels of another share of spoils against ZPC Kariba at Nyamhunga a fortnight ago.
And Mutasa is worried about his team’s lack of creativity.
“We are working as a team in all aspects like going forward and defending. We have been lacking creativity and taking control of the game in recent matches, but it’s some of the areas we are trying to manage and I am sure by weekend we will see a lot of positives,” said Mutasa.
The DeMbare gaffer is however confident his charges will deliver.
“I am not losing sleep, we know what we have to do and what we are supposed to do,” he said.
“Football has always been a pressure game, but we are one point off the mark, so we are not worried, but only thinking of how we will perform in our last five games.
“We have sat down as a team and talked about these games.”
After Ngezi Dynamos play Chapungu (home), Bantu Rovers (away), Bulawayo City (away) and Chicken Inn (home).
