
Mutasa Gets First Win At Dynamos
Lloyd Mutasa got his first win in charge of Dynamos with a 1-0 win over Tsholotsho at Barbourfiels, CAPS United came from behind to salvage a 2-2 draw against ZPC Kariba with Norman Mapeza’s FC Platinum’s roll continuing with a 3-0 win over Border Strikers while Chapungu and Ngezi Platinum drew 1-1.
Dynamos got the only goal of the game through a sixth minute penalty converted by Ocean Mushure in the sixth minute. Caps United’s two second half goals saw them grab a point against ZPC KAriba who had taken a 2-0 lead at half time.
Limited Chikafa’s 15th minute goal gave ZPC the lead before Talent Chawapihwa doubled the lead in the 24th minute. However, Lloyd Chitembwe made two changes with the duo of Phienas Bamusi and Dominic Chungwa in for Archiford Gutu and Simbarashe Nhivi at the break.
It was not until the 71st minute that substitute Bamusi pulled one back for Makepekepe before Leonard Tsipa’s 87th minute equaliser.
FC Platinum’s goals came through Obrey Chirwa’s first half brace with his first coming in the 13th minute, before adding the second in the 34th minute while Elvis Moyo sealed the account a minute before the hour mark.
Knowledge Machona made sure Ngezi Patinum went back home with a point after his 49th minute goal levelled matters against Chapungu whose goal came in the first half through Xolani Ncube.
