Mutasa Done With Dynamos

REBUILDING Harare giants Dynamos have announced there are no more vacancies at the club after the signing of goalkeeper Blessing Mwandimutsira completed their provisional quota ahead of the close of the March 31 window deadline.

DeMbare now have 30 players on their squad list including former Gunners and Bindura United striker Quality Kangadze whose move to the former champions is almost a done deal.

The record Zimbabwe champions have been experiencing a slump in quality and results of late and have missed the title in the last two seasons.

Whether this new-look Glamour Boys side will be able to take the club back to the top in 2017 and beyond is an issue for another day but their coach Lloyd Mutasa is convinced he has assembled a competitive squad.

Former Buffaloes goalkeeper Mwandimutsira signed a two-year contract. The transfer window will close next Friday with the season expected to start few days later.

Dynamos are going through a difficult period which has seen them being bullied on the market by some of the young Tuks in the Premiership.

For the umpteenth time the Harare giants have been forced to go the way of holding trials to recruit players after giving up on the competition for big names with well-oiled opponents such as FC Platinum, Harare City, Ngezi Platinum Stars, How Mine and Triangle.

Mutasa however believes he has found the material to build his team on and he no longer has vacancies ahead of the March 31 transfer deadline.

“For now we are done as a team. Unless a Diego Maradona of our time comes through to our training ground then we may be forced to think otherwise,” said Mutasa.
