Mushure, Chipunza Get Their Consolation

OCEAN MUSHURE capped a memorable season when he was crowned Dynamos’ Player of the Year at a ceremony held in the capital on Tuesday night.

Most of the guests however felt the $500 prize money was too little for DeMbare’s stature as the country’s biggest club.

Mushure was also presented with the Most Loyal Player award.

Consistent defensive linkman Tichaona Chipunza won the Players’ Player of the Year award and walked away with $250.

The Chitungwiza bred central midfielder also won the Most Consistent Player of the Year award which carried a prize money of $300.

The Top Goalscorer of the Year was Christian Epoupa Joel Ntouba and the award carried a $300 prize money.

Rising left back Romario Matoba won the Rookie Player of the Year while Peace Makaha was crowned the Most Improved Player and took home $300.

The Most Exciting Player of 2017 was Cleopas Kapupurika who walked away $250 richer.

Goalkeeper Tonderayi Mateyaunga was given the Most Disciplined award.
