Mkuruva Impresses New Boss

DEVON CHAFA’S fitness is worrying his new coach at Zambian side Buildcon FC who are camping in Harare ahead of the 2018 Zambian Super League.

Chafa signed for Buildcon FC from Caps United last weekend and came on as a second half substitute as the visitors labored to a 2-2 draw with newly promoted Castle Lager PSL side Herentals at the National Sports B Arena Thursday morning.

Buildcon FC coach Arena Gulgleimo spoke about Chafa after the match.

“We have to manage Devon (Chafa), he is not yet match fit. He also needs to know how we play so I guess he needs more time,” said Gulgleimo.

The Italian coach was however impressed with former Warriors keeper Tatenda Mkuruva who pulled off numerous saves.

“Today Tatenda had a very strong game, you saw the number of saves he made. Jaure is also a good player and Masuku is our playmaker,” he said.

Buildcon FC are now home to four Zimbabweans namely Devon Chafa, Tatenda Mkuruva, and Nqobizitha Masuku.
