Mkuruva Dumps DeMbare?

DYNAMOS might have lost the battle to keep top goalie Tatenda Mkuruva after fresh news emerged Tuesday morning that the Zimbabwe national team keeper is heading to South Africa’s Absa Premiership where is expected to join either Ajax Cape Town or Cape Town City.

Mkuruva had a brilliant show at the just ended Afcon finals in Gabon where he was undoubtedly Zimbabwe’s best player and a move away from the local Premiership was highly anticipated.

The 21-year-old keeper’s contract with DeMbare expired on December 31, 2016 but Mkuruva has been playing hide and seek with the former Zimbabwean champions.

According to Kick Off, Mkuruva left Harare for Cape Town on Monday afternoon and he is expected to join Ajax Cape Town or Eric Tinkler’s Cape Town City - formerly Mpumalanga Black Aces.

"Mkuruva has agreed on a new contract with a PSL side. He is on his way to Cape Town,” a source told KickOff.com.
