Mighty Warriors Blow Chance
Zimbabwe Senior Womens National football team, the Mighty Warriors, lost 1-0 to Egypt in their second match in group A of the ongoing Women's Africa cup of nations in Cameroon.
After drawing the first game against South Africa the Mighty Warriors needed nothing short of all three points but the defeat to the Egyptians made life difficult for Zimbabwe as they will be needing a victory against Cameroon in their last group game.
In Tuesday's first game, Hosts Cameroon beat South Africa 1-0 in their second Group A match to book a place in the semi-finals of the women's Africa Cup of Nations.
The Mighty warriors will feel hard done by the match officials who denied them what seemingly looked like a goal by Felistas Muzongondi only to be denied by the near side assistant referee after the centre referee had signalled for a goal.
