Micho Quits Uganda
News coming out of Uganda adds serious weight to suggestions that Milutin Sredojevic may be taking over the reins at Orlando Pirates.
The 47-year-old today announced he was bringing an end to his tenure as Uganda national team coach as there was no resolution to a dispute over unpaid wages.
'Micho' won much acclaim for guiding the Cranes through Africa Cup of Nations qualification, ending their lengthy absence from the competition that stretches almost four decades.
It now looks likely that Sredojevic will link up with the Buccaneers as their appear to be question marks of current coach Kjell Jonevret's ability to lead the team.
Should the Serb take over the reins at Pirates it will be his second stint in charge, having managed the Soweto giants for a spell over 10 years ago.
In parting Sredojevic thanked the various captains he had appointed during his time in charge, including former Jomo Cosmos and Bloemfontein Celtic striker Geofrey Massa.
The fans all received a special mention whilst Sredojevic also divulged that he will listen to offers from clubs about coaching opportunities
