Mhofu Rules Out DeMbare
SUNDAY “MHOFU” CHIDZAMBWA has ruled Dynamos out of the 2017 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League title race and thinks the battle is now between the two Platinum sides Ngezi and FC.
Chidzambwa’s ZPC Kariba travel to Zvishavane to play second placed FC Platinum at Mandava on Saturday.
Norman Mapeza’s FC Platinum, who are joint on 60 points with log leaders Ngezi who have a superior goal difference, just need to win their remaining four matches to win the 2017 title.
And Chidzambwa, the most decorated coach in the country has tipped the platinum miners.
“The two platinum teams have a good chance to win it. They have a better chance of winning the title than anybody else,” said Chidzambwa.
After playing ZPC Kariba, FC Platinum will face Tsholotsho FC (away), Ngezi (home) and Chapungu (away).
Tonderai Ndiraya’s Ngezi play Bantu Rovers in Bulawayo on Sunday before playing Chicken Inn (home), FC Platinum (away) and Triangle at the Baobab in the final match.
