Champions Chicken Inn have not performed to expectations and they risk mounting the worst title defence in over a decade. While they have a solid squad, they have lost matches they are expected to win. They have simply become unpredictable. On Thursday they face a Mutare City side fighting relegation. That Takura Shariwa’s side were knocked out of the Chibuku Super means they have all their effort on avoiding the chop.
Prediction: A draw is likely while Chicken Inn have an outside chance of winning the game.
 
Harare City v Highlanders (Rufaro)
The battle between Harare City and Highlanders has always been exciting over the years. These are two teams that play an open game and there are always goals involved in the match. Harare City coach Moses Chunga has already indicated that he will not give any favours to title chasing Highlanders. Erol Akbay on the other hand has made it a point they are chasing both the league and the Chibuku Super Cup. Harare City are coming from a massive 4-0 win over Border Strikers in the Cup game while Bosso dismissed Mutare City 2-1.
