Mutare City coach Taku Shariwa believes there is a conspiracy among match officials against his team.

Shariwa made the allegations after his team lost to Chapungu over the weekend. 

“We are losing because of some things beyond our control. It seems some match officials have an agenda against us," said Shariwa.

“Last week we scored a genuine goal against Highlanders but it was ruled out for offside. Against Chapungu our players were frustrated by biased officiating against us”.

The debutants are second from bottom with 10 points from 14 matches having won thrice, lost 10 times and drew only once. Next week they play in a rearranged fixture away to Tsholotsho who are just a point above them.
