MAMBARE TURNS BACK THE HANDS OF TIME

Dynamos midfielder Masimba Mambare is turning back the hands of time with splendid performances that saw him voted the second best player in the country four years ago. Mambare a first runner up to Denver Mukamba in 2012 put up a stellar show in the victory away to Chapungu before steering DeMbare to another victory over Ngezi Platinum on Sunday, providing an assist for the second goal. Mambare told SportsZone that he was thrilled by his resurgent form.

“It’s good to be back on form because since my move from Highlanders, I have been affected by injuries. I am happy that I am picking up the form and contributing to the team's cause," said Mambare.

Mambare spend his first two seasons at Dynamos either on the terraces or on the bench owing to injuries. But last week, Mambare provided guidance to the young Dynamos strike force of King Nasama, Musa Madhiri and Kudzanayi Nyakasaka against Chapungu with mature play. He was involved in the build up to the second goal by Nasama and he followed up with such a good show with a man of the match performance against Ngezi, providing an assist to Rodreck Mutuma for the cushion.
