Mambare Displaces Sadiki

DYNAMOS midfielder Takunda Sadiki seems to have lost his place in the starting XI to Masimba Mambare.
Sadiki had a bad outing in the Independence Trophy final when Mambare rose from the bench to score the opener.
At the Colliery Mutasa opted to go with Mambare in a game they won 1-0 against Hwange, their first league win of the 2017 season.
Mambare was struggling to get a starting place and he revealed in an exclusive interview with H-Metro that this could be one of the strongest assembled Dynamos teams in recent years.
On Monday Mutasa said it was to their best interest that they made the change.
“We had Mambare instead for that position while Emmanuel Mandiranga kept his position on the other wing. Mambare has been doing well of late,” said Mutasa.
With Denver Mukamba set to make a return, it will be interesting to see how Mutasa will manage the situation.
Mandiranga, scorer of the goal at the Colliery, has been one of the most exciting players of late and may not make way for Mukamba.
Mutasa has been opting for two strikers, limiting the number of places for his attacking midfielders.
“Christian (Ntouba) and Kangadze played as our two strickers upfront. It was not an easy match at all but I’m happy the guys fought all the way to the end and we were rewarded with that goal,” said Mutasa.
