Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has revealed who he believes could win the Premier League this season.

The retired Red Devil and England international thinks Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool have a chance of winning England's top division this season, and suggested he is concerned for United, who will take on the Merseyside club next month.

"Liverpool look like they're a team who can win the league," Scholes told BT Sport.

"I think it's a big test for United to go there on October 17, and try and get something out of the game.

"I think they'd take a draw now. I was a little bit worried about them defensively but, you have to say, the attacking quality they're showing at the minute, they look like they're going to score goals against anybody.

"I hope they don't win the league!"

Liverpool have not won the Premier League since the change of format in 1992, but have won England's top-flight title 18 times.

Klopp's side are currently fourth on the table after six matches.
