Kundai Benyu Divides Opinion At Celtic

ZIMBABWE’S teenage sensation Kundai Benyu has divided opinion among supporters at Scotland football giants Celtic after making his debut appearance in the Scottish League.

Benyu played 70 minutes in Celtic’s 5-0 victory against  Kilmarnock on August 8 and last Friday night, the 19-year-old midfielder was an unused substitute in the 1-0 win at Patrick Thistle.

Some of the supporters believe the Zimbabwean teen is a star of the future while others believe he should be loaned out somewhere where he will get playing time before he becomes a regular for the Scottish giants.

Some of the tweets that described Benyu’s league debut performance:

“Very impressed with Benyu tonight.  Fitting into the family well. What a squad we have for this season,” one supporter tweeted.

The other one said:

“I'm glad we didn't send Kundai Benyu out on loan, he looks very capable of fitting in with this team at this level. Always wants the ball.”

“Seeing some #Celtic fans suggesting Benyu is struggling. Couldn't disagree anymore; fantastic debut - energy, pace, work ethic all there.”

Others feel the Zimbabwean needs a loan move.

“Starting to really think Benyu needs a loan move to make his mark for this side,” opined another supporter.
