Knox Mutizwa Stays At Wits

WARRIORS striker Knox Mutizwa, currently with the Zimbabwe national team on Cosafa Castle Cup duty, has been retained at South African champions Bidwest Wits.

Mutizwa was on loan at Golden Arrows last season and impressed at Arrows where reports linked him with a permanent move.

Five other SA clubs were reportedly trailing him.

The former Highlanders gun slinger has however chosen to extend his marriage with Wits by two more years.

Bidvest Wits have extended the stay of playmaker Elias Pelembe.

Former Mamelodi Sundowns ace Pelembe has signed a new one-year contract with the PSL champions with an option.

"We have exercised the option and we keep Knox (Mutizwa) this coming season," Wits CEO Jose Ferreira told KickOff.com.
