Kenny Ndebele Praises The Late Mazingi

Premier Soccer League (PSL) Chief Executive Officer Kennedy Ndebele has described the late Chapungu goalie, Roy Mazingi as a disciplined player.

Mazingi (31) died last week on Wednesday at Manyame Airbase hospital after a short illness.

In an interview at the sidelines of Mazingi’s burial in Kwekwe on Sunday, Ndebele said Mazingi was one of the most disciplined and well behaved players in the league.

“It is very saddening that we have lost one of the most disciplined players ever in the PSL. The entire football fraternity has lost a veteran who was well behaved and was a good player as well,” said Ndebele.

Ndebele said it was saddening that Mazingi had to die at a very young age.

“It is very sad that he died at a young age when he still had a very promising future in his career. He was taken away from us unexpectedly,” he lamented.
