Karuru Attracts Interest From Denmark And Sweden
Two unnamed clubs from Denmark and Sweden are interested in Warriors midfielder Ovidy Karuru.
The former Gunners and Masvingo United winger is currently playing for Amazulu in the South African National First division after a frustrating time at Kaizer Chiefs.
Karuru joined Usuthu in the January transfer window, six months after leaving Chiefs at the end of 2015/16 season and started 10 out of 13 league matches for Joey Antipas' side and scored twice as Amazulu finished fifth in the NFD.
According to Kickoff.com, the former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder is wanted by teams in Denmark and Sweden but they've only spoken to the player and have not engaged the club as yet.
"Ovidy, there's some interest in him growing in Sweden and Denmark. Unfortunately I can't give out names but they have made an offer to the player and they intend on speaking to his club."
Karuru, who was recently recalled to the Zimbabwe National team and was introduced in the second half in the Warriors 3-0 win over Liberia, will be expected to be part of the Warriors side to participate in the Cosafa Castle Cup that is starting on the 25th June in Rusternburg, South Africa.
