Kamhuka Joins Swedish Club

How Mine defender Victor Kamhuka has joined Swedish first division club Sriyanskan FC on a two year contract.

Kamhuka impressed at Sriyanskan FC after going on a weeklong trial stint in August.

An elated Kamhuka told SportsZone that he will be leaving to join his new club at the end of the Castle Lager PSL season.

“I am very happy that I have made the grade at Sriyanskan FC. It’s every player’s wish to play in Europe and I am happy that I have finally made the breakthrough. I also want to thank my coach Kelvin Kaindu for pushing me hard so that I take my game to a higher level,” said Kamhuka.

“I will be leaving at the end of the season because their league runs concurrently with ours.  I hope to make the best of out of this opportunity because I signed a two year contract with an option for another year.”

Sriyanskan FC are based in the Swedish capital Stockholm and will be Kamhuka’s second foreign club after having also played for Black Leopards in South Africa.

The 26 year old defender played for Gunners and Dynamos in the local league.
