THE Old Mutual Zimbabwe Under-18s held their first training sessions in Johannesburg on Sunday ahead of their participation in the Coca-Cola Craven Week as well as Academy Week at St Stithians College with the annual tournaments starting on Monday and concluding on Saturday.

Both teams, which arrived in South Africa on Saturday evening held a two hour fine tuning session at Queens High School where they are based. They then attended an evening motivational talk by Golden Lions prop Julian Redelinghuys at Ellis Park Stadium.

On Monday, the Junior Sables will hold two training sessions, one before and after they have attended the official opening ceremony at St Stithians College in the afternoon.

Both teams are in action on Tuesday morning, the Scott Gray coached Craven Week team open the tournament with a clash against Leopards while the Basil Dingiswayo mentored Academy Week side makes its debut at the tournament when they take on the Golden Lions XV.
