Jangano Out, Makatuka In

TITLE aspirants Caps United will miss the services of gritty centre back Justice Jangano when they play Tsholotsho in Bulawayo on Wednesday.

Jangano picked up his third straight yellow when Makepekepe beat Highlanders 1-0 at the National Sports Stadium last Sunday.

Caps United however welcome back defensive pillar Stephen Makatuka who missed last Sunday’s blockbuster clash against Highlanders through suspension.

United coach Lloyd Chitembwe partnered Jangano and Dennis Dauda last Sunday and is now likely to partner the returning Makatuka and Dauda in Wednesday’s game.

Makepekepe, who are second on the log with 32 points, need an outright win against Tsholotsho to keep pace with log leaders FC Platinum who enjoy a four point advantage going into round 17.

Norman Mapeza’s Pure Platinum host Hwange at Mandava Wednesday.

Also suspended for the midweek fixtures is Harare City’s rising defensive linkman Learnmore Muyambo who will watch his side’s clash against How Mine from the terraces at Rufaro.

Moses Chunga is eager to bounce back to winning ways after losing 0-2 to Chicken Inn at Barbourfields last Sunday.

Nelson Ketala will also miss Ngezi Platinum Stars’ home match against defending champions Chicken Inn at the Baobab.
