It Will Go Down To The Wire - Mapeza

FC PLATINUM coach Norman Mapeza believes the 2017 PSL race will be decided on the last weekend and feels his side’s draw against Harare City last Friday has motivated his boys to raise their gear.

Pure Platinum Play dropped two points in Harare and lost their place at the top to Ngezi Platinum Stars 24 hours later.

The Zvishavane side has 60 points, the same as new log leaders Ngezi who have a superior goal difference.

Dynamos are third with 58 points.

“It’s still difficult, we still have four games to go. It’s like what happened last season, we have to push to the last game,” said Mapeza.

“I think it will be down to the wire. The league will be decided in the last game of the season. We have to keep on pushing.”

FC Platinum host ZPC Kariba on Saturday hoping to reclaim top spot before Ngezi play Bantu Rovers on Sunday.

Dynamos host Chapungu at the National Sports on Sunday.
