I Came To Win And I'm Winning: Zlatan
After helping Manchester United to EFL Cup glory on Sunday, Zlatan Ibrahimovic insists he is not surprised by his success in his first season in England.
The 35-year-old scored twice as the Red Devils edged Southampton 3-2 in a pulsating Cup final at Wembley, taking his goal-scoring tally for the season to 26.
The Swede, who joined United on a free transfer from Paris St-Germain, now has the most goals by any player in the Premier League this season and won his 32nd major trophy.
Asked if he was surprised by his success in England, Ibrahimovic told Sky Sports: "No, no. This is what I predicted. Everything I thought would happen. The only thing is the others didn't see it. And I came here to show them what I saw and what I would do.
"Apparently to many I could not do it, but I keep going and doing what I am doing every year.
"This is what I came for, I came to win and I am winning. I have to keep going because the more I win the more satisfied I get."
