Herentals To Beef Up Squad
NEWLY promoted side Herentals could depart from their earlier declaration that they will not buy any new players ahead of their maiden Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season.
It seems the Innocent Benza owned side are now hunting for three players with Premiership experience to beef up their spine.
“The team is looking for a defender, midfielder and striker to blend with the players we had from Division One,” said a source.
Herentals played a friendly match against their Division One side at the National Sports Stadium’s B Arena Saturday morning.
Their coach Kumbirai Mutiwekuziva is confident his boys can hold their own against the Premiership’s big boys.
“There is not much difference between our players and other players who were playing in the PSL last season so I think we can manage,” said Mutiwekuziva.
