Harare Derby Off
Burning Dynamos have received a timely reprieve following the postponement of the Harare Derby against Caps United that had been scheduled for Sunday at the National Sports.
Both clubs have three players in the national team set to play Namibia in a CHAN qualifier first leg in Windhoek on the same day.
Obey Mwerahari, Ocean Mushure and Emmanuel Mandiranga are the DeMbare players in Sunday Chidzambwa’s squad.
Makepekepe have Abbas Amidu, Moses Muchenje and Ronald Chitiyo in the Warriors.
The PSL confirmed the development Wednesday afternoon before advising that the match would be played at a later date.
The postponement will be sweet news to the Dynamos executive which was battling internal strife which led to the resignation of vice president Solomon Sanyamandwe on Tuesday.
Sanyamandwe was the club’s chief financier and his departure has sparked disharmony among the players who staged a strike on Tuesday.
