Harare City Clamour For Consistency

HARARE CITY haven’t really transformed their cup form into the league and such has been the club’s inconsistency that the Sunshine Boys have won successive league matches only once this season.

The last time City won twice in a row was back in June when they beat Triangle 2-0 and Black Rhinos 2-1.

Since then it has been a seesaw affair for the Chibuku Cup finalists who host log leaders FC Platinum at Rufaro on Friday.

The Sunshine Boys are just three points above the relegation zone and rising defensive link man Learnmore Muyambo knows things are not looking good for his side.

“We haven’t really managed to replicate our Cup form but we will try by all means to get the three points on Friday,” said Muyambo.

“We are sitting on a dangerous position on the log and it’s high time we begin to win consistently.”

Harare City are on 34 points, three ahead of Shabanie Mine who occupy the last relegation slot.

The Sunshine Boys have however done well in the Chibuku Super Cup having booked a third final appearance last weekend with a win over Bulawayo City.
