FORMER Dynamos secretary general Raymond Kazembe, also known as Kazembe Kazembe has been appointed the new Minister of Sport taking over from Makhosini Hlongwane.

Kazembe is part of the 21-man new cabinet announced by President Emmerson Mnangagwa Thursday night.

Kazembe quit Dynamos at the end of the 2012 season having been part of an executive that had won two consecutive league titles.

He went into politics and won the Mazowe West Constituency in the 2013 House of Assembly elections.
