FORMER Highlanders, national under 23 player and Mwana Africa captain Costa Maradzike has passed away.

Details of his death are yet to be availed but SportsZone understands that the Mashonaland central football legend passed on in Bulawayo Tuesday morning.

At his peak, Maradzike captained a Mwana Africa side that had the likes of Tendai Mwarura, Thomas Sweswe and Chipo Tsodzo in the 2007 Caf Confederation Cup after winning the CBZ Cup in 2006.
