Football Stakeholders Meet Over Violence At Stadiums

Representatives from nine PSL clubs met for a workshop on violence at Kadoma Hotel Friday afternoon where it was agreed that all teams should have trained stewards.

The special workshop attended by officials from Dynamos, caps United, highlanders, how mine, shabanie mine, fc platinum, chapungu, Harare city and ngezi Platinum was prompted by the recent increase in crowd trouble at PSL matches.

"We invited representatives from clubs to discuss the issue of violence.  The sponsors were worried with the increase in violence and it was creating a bad image for the league and county, said PSL chief Kennedy ndebele.
