'FC Platinum Will Not Win The League Title In The Next Three Years'

Controversial former footballer, the outspoken Norman “Wezhira” Togara is at it again and this time he has cursed his former clubs FC Platinum and ZPC Kariba.

Togara who has now retired back to his roots in Chiredzi posted an emotional Face book message on Friday which appeared to attack his former clubs.

“For the next 3 and half yrs-fc platinum and zpc kariba will never achieve anything be it league cup or any silverware,” he posted.

Togara had a labour dispute with FC Platinum when he was offloaded by the Zvishavane miners just before he joined ZPC Kariba for the 2014 season.

His departure from ZPC Kariba was, according to reports, not so amicable which might probably explain Togara’s beef with his former employers.

FC Platinum are expected to finally win the league title under Norman Mapeza this season after making some astute buys in the offseason and are back in the country from preseason tour of South Africa.

But Togara thinks they will not win anything.

The unpredictable and nomadic former Dynamos defender is currently staying in Chiredzi where he is coaching at a local school.

During his explosive career, Togara turned out for Masvingo United, Caps United, Dynamos, FC Platinum and ZPC Kariba among other teams.
