FC Platinum dropped two points at Rufaro after playing a goalless draw against Harare City on Friday afternoon setting the stage for Saturday’s blockbuster clash between Ngezi Platinum and Dynamos.

A win for either Ngezi or DeMbare will see FC Platinum relinquish top post.

FC Platinum are now on 60 points, two points ahead of Dynamos and three more than third placed Ngezi.

It was at Rufaro where Norman Mapeza’s Pure Platinum Play failed to wrap the game in a first half they dominated with their passing game.

Charles Sibanda and Rodwell Chinyengetere had golden chances in the first 10 minutes but they both failed to beat Tatenda Munditi in goals for City.

Impressive defender Kelvin Moyo’s header hit the upright in the dying stages of the game.

Harare City who came back a fired up side had Malvin Gaki to blame after the former Triangle forward shot straight at the defenders from close range.
