MARVELOUS Nakamba could now be thrown into the fray against Senegal at Stade de Franceville on Thursday.

After missing the group B opener of the 2017 AFCON finals here in Gabon through suspension, the Vitesse Star, who was a marvel to watch in the qualifiers, could just bring in a new dimension to the Warriors.

Indications are that coach Kalisto Pasuwa will keep both Willard Katsande and Danny Phiri in the team while Nakamba will be pushed to an advanced position in the absence of injured Knowledge Musona.

On Tuesday the Warriors were expected to hold a training under floodlights at Moanda where they have been staying.

Skipper Willard Katsande said they will miss Musona.

“Even though it is a chance for someone, we will miss Musona. But I guess we have to try and fight without him and play as a team,” said Katsande.
