Dynamos Sign Little-Known Cameroon Striker Ntouba
Premier Soccer League former champions Dynamos have completed the signing of little-known Cameroon striker Ntouba Epoupa on a two-year contract after a successful two-week trial.
Mutasa who had a crisis upfront in a doomed campaign in the 2016 PSL season was impressed by Ntouba and quickly gave the executive the greenlight to sign the striker.
Ntouba comes in to complement the light weight strike force that had rookies Kudzanai Nyakasaka, King Nasama and new signing Emmanuel Mandiranga.
“I can confirm that we have signed Ntouba Epoupa and I feel he is going to be a good replacement for those who left the club. Our team was lacking a striker and we have tried to give the coaches maximum support.
“It is now up to the striker and the technical team to deliver. He is a good player who uses both legs and I think goals will start coming at Dynamos as it was our weakest department,” said acting secretary Graham Mafoko.
Dynamos has two slots remaining and are expected to seal deals with former Gunners and Trojan striker Quality Kangazi this afternoon and
former Buffaloes goalkeeper Blessing Mandimutsira.
Meanwhile DYNAMOS have cancelled their tour to Botswana where two friendly matches were lined up after their hosts failed to get clearance from the football association.
The Glamour Boys were scheduled to travel to Gaborone this Friday.
However, it has emerged that the friendly matches against Mochudi Centre Chiefs and Gilsport Lions this weekend cannot go proceed after they were not sanctioned by Botswana Football Association.
