DYNAMOS players are owed about $4 800 each in salary and bonus arrears and most of them are contemplating deserting the cash strapped club in the off season.

The Glamour Boys are owed roughly $1 800 in salary arrears and $3 000 winning bonuses.

DeMbare now face a tough time to retain players and maintain their rebuilding project intact as most players are not happy after going for 16 games without getting their winning bonuses.

One player who spoke to The Herald said the players felt shortchanged by the Keni Mubaiwa led executive.

“We have been told there is no money due to the prevailing economic conditions in the country. We don’t even know whether we will get the money or not.

“Our only hope now is on getting something from the prize money,” said the player.

DeMbare finished second to FC Platinum in the just ended season.

Dynamos secretary Webster Marechera acknowledges that the club owes players a substantive amount.

“We always talk to our players if we have any issues with them. We have also made it a point that we pay them any outstanding dues whenever the money is available,” said Marechera.
