Dynamos, Ngezi Punished
DYNAMOS and Ngezi Platinum will pay a fine of $2 000 each after a Premier Soccer League disciplinary found the two clubs guilty of contravening the league’s rules during their clash at the Baobab on October 28.
Ngezi Platinum beat 2-0 but that was before the game was stopped after some crowd trouble from both sets of supporters.
DeMbare fans also invaded the pitch allegedly running away from missiles which were being thrown by alleged Ngezi supporters from outside the stadium.
In a judgment passed Tuesday afternoon, the Premier League Disciplinary Committee found both clubs of contravening Order 31 of the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League Rules and Regulations.
They were both ordered to $2 500 each by November 30.
However, $500 was removed on condition that both teams are not found guilty of the same offence during this season.
