Dynamos’ man of the moment Christian Joel Epoupa scored early before he was red carded in the second half as DeMbare blew a chance to go top of the table at Rufaro Sunday afternoon.

With 48 points in the bag, DeMbare needed a win against Highlanders to go top on goal difference following log leaders Chicken Inn’s 1-2 defeat against Yadah FC on Saturday.

They remain two points behind Chicken Inn.

But the former champions met a spirited Bosso who gained their first point in six matches thanks to a Benson Phiri equaliser in the second half.

That was before Epoupa turned from hero to zero when he was shown the red for an off the ball incident as tempers boiled at Rufaro.

Dynamos fans threw missiles late on before they were cooled off by goalie Tatenda Mateyaunga who had assumed the armband after Ocean Mushure was substituted.

Meanwhile champions Caps United beat Bantu Rovers 3-1 in Bulawayo thanks to a Hardlife Zvirekwi brace and one from Dominic Chungwa.

Triangle beat a 10-men Hwange 3-1 at Gibbo Stradium.
