Dynamos star midfielder Denver Mukamba has been drafted into the national team as a replacement for Ronald “Rooney” Chitiyo who has been excused to attend to his critically ill father.

Mukamba who is having a revived season with DeMbare was at Yadah Complex where the Warriors trained in the morning but did not take part as he arrived late.

He is expected to play in a friendly against Yadah FC on Thursday afternoon as the Warriors gear up for the CHAN qualifier against Namibia on Sunday.

Chicken Inn left back Devine Lunga was also expected to join camp late Thursday as a direct replacement for Honest Moyo who is in South Africa for trials.

The Warriors leave for Windhoek on Friday.
