Log leaders Chicken Inn suffered a shock home defeat, losing 1-2 to Yadah FC in Bulawayo Saturday and relinquished a two-point advantage in the process.

Obadiah Tarumbwa scored after only 20 seconds but Jimmy Dzingai (6’) and Morris Musiyakuvi (78’) won the game for Yadah FC.

On 48 points, DeMbare can go on top on goal difference if they beat Highlanders at Rufaro on Sunday.

While the Gamecocks were faltering, Norman Mapeza’s FC Platinum were capitalizing.

Pure Platinum Play beat 10-man How Mine 1-0 courtesy of 45th minute Kelvin Moyo goal to go joint top with Chicken Inn with 51 points.
