
DeMbare Win, Ngezi Back On Top
HARARE giants Dynamos bounced back to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Triangle in their homecoming show at Rufaro on Sunday afternoon.
Tawanda Macheke opened the scores for DeMbare before Lameck Nhamo equalized but skipper Ocean Mushure had the final say in the 78th minute.
DeMbare are now on 33 points, four behind new log leaders Ngezi Platinum Stars who walloped Hwange 4-1 at Baobab.
Ngezi Platinum Stars got their goals through a double from Godknows Murwira, Terrence Dzukamanja and Qadr Amini.
Shepard Gadzikwa scored for Hwange.
Chicken Inn moved to 35 points after beating Bulawayo City 1-0 at Luveve courtesy of an Innocent Mucheneka first half strike.
Highlanders finally remembered how to win when they dispatched Shabanie 2-0 at Maglas thanks to goals from Godknows Makaruse and veteran Ralph Matema.
Things have gone bad suddenly for former log leaders Black Rhinos who succumbed to their second consecutive defeat at Chapungu.
They lost 0-3.
