DeMbare Coach Mutasa Apologises

Dynamos coach Lloyd Mutasa apologized to his club’s fans after the ailing giants lost 1-3 to bitter rivals Caps United in a Commanders ZNA Charities Shield semi final clash at the National Sports on Sunday.

DeMbare fell to goals by Leonard Tsipa and Dominic Chungwa while the other one was an own goal early in the first half.

Dynamos scored through Denver Mukamba.

“To the fans I say sorry but we will go back to the drawing board and rectify some of the problems we noticed today,” said Mutasa.

Mutasa gave newboy Gift Saunyama a debut and the former Whawha player did not disappoint at defensive linkman position.

Youthful Peace Makaha also started at right back in a back four that also had Elisha Muroiwa, Marshal Machazane and Ocean Mushure.

The Dynamos gaffer also appeared to criticize referee Ruzive Ruzive whom he felt left a lot of bad tackles go unpunished.

“Sometimes you can’t speak about things you can’t control but a number of crude tackles went unpunished,” he said.
