DeMbare Back At Rufaro
DYNAMOS will play their first match at Rufaro Stadium this Sunday when they host Triangle hoping to recover from Wednesday’s morale shattering 1-3 defeat to FC Platinum.
Rufaro, which has been closed for renovations since the beginning the 2017 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season, will be officially reopened on Saturday when Harare City clash with Caps United in a Harare derby.
Regarded as the ceremonial home of football, Rufaro now has a new turf, an improved turnstile technology to improve gate controls and will soon have bucket seats installed starting with the VVIP area.
DeMbare have regarded Rufaro as their home for decades and the Glamour Boys – who shared the National Sports with rivals Caps United – have been complaining that the giant stadium was not easily accessible to the majority of their supporters.
