It was a disastrous outing for the Zimbabwe national team as we lost 61-15 to Kenya in an Africa Cup group 1A match in Harare on Saturday. We next play at home to Uganda and then finish off with a game away to Namibia.

Namibia beat Uganda away earlier this month so they are joint-leaders with Kenya. The group winners become African Champions, but that accolade looks to be out of our reach now, and the main task now will be to make sure that we don't finish bottom of the group and get relegated.

Coach Cyprian Mandenge says the team was poorly-prepared and very nearly refused to play the match.
