Conte Hails 11 Chelsea Wins In A Row

Antonio Conte's Chelsea made it 11 Premier League wins in a row on Saturday to equal their own club record.

Chelsea are nine points clear of Liverpool and Arsenal in second and third, with the Gunners taking on Manchester City in their game in hand today and Liverpool travelling to Everton on Monday night.

Diego Costa struck the winning goal in a 1-0 victory at Crystal Palace on Saturday.

“The run is fantastic,” Conte said. “Congratulations to my players, not me. I am pleased with this level we have reached and with work we can improve.

“It is important to understand we are only at the 17th game in the season. There are two games before the halfway.

“We are working very well and are in a good position. We must not look at the table, and continue. We must not look at our rivals, and continue to work hard ourselves.”

Arsenal hold the record for the most consecutive Premier League wins in a row, achieved between 10 February and 24 August 2002.
