CAPS United coach Lloyd Chitembwe refused to comment about his childhood friend Norman Mapeza after he beat him to the 2016 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League title on Saturday.

Makepekepe beat Chapungu at Ascot 1-0 to finish on 63 points, two more than Mapeza’s FC Platinum who also beat Tsholotsho FC 3-0 at Luveve.

“For now, uuuu, let me enjoy my moment, I will talk about other teams later. I want to have my time in the sun,” Chitembwe said.

Chitembwe and Mapeza grew up in the same neighbourhood in Unit A, Chitungwiza and they both come from the same rural area in Honde Valley.

There are reports that Mapeza is now under pressure and could lose his job after failing to guide FC Platinum to the title in two close attempts.
