Chitembwe Names Starting XI For Zamalek Clash
CAPS United coach Lloyd Chitembwe has made just one change to the regular starting side he has been using in the domestic Premiership when he named his team for tonight’s Champions League Group B match against Zamalek at Borg El Arab stadium.
The match kicks off at 9pm.
With winger Tafadzwa Rusike ruled out because of a groin injury, Chitembwe has made a tactical switch, pushing Roland Pfumbidzai into a more attacking role on the left side of midfield with Valentine Musarurwa being brought in at left back.
The rest of the defence remains the same with captain Hardlife Zvirekwi operating on the right and Dennis Dauda partnering Justice Jangano in the centre.
Abbas Amidu will operate as a lone striker with Ronald Chitiyo operating just behind him a 4-4-1-1 formation.
Zamalek are still to name their team.
CAPS United XI: Edmore Sibanda, Hardlife Zvirekwi, Valentine Musarurwa, Justice Jangano, Dennis Dauda, Devon Chafa, Phineas Bhamusi, Moses Muchenje, Ronald Chitiyo, Abbas Amidu.
SUBS: Jorum Muchambo, Joel Ngodzo, Carlton Mudzambwa, Kudzanai Nyamupfukudza, Cabby Kamhapa, Dominic Chungwa, Tafadzwa Rusike.
