Chitembwe Contemplates Quitting Caps United
CAPS UNITED coach Lloyd Chitembwe is contemplating quitting the defending champions and on Tuesday the temperamental gaffer dropped the biggest after Makepekepe suffered a shock 0-2 loss to Yadah FC in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match played at Morris Depot.
Jimmy Dzingai and Munyaradzi Chiwara scored in the second half for Yadah FC.
This was Caps United’s third straight defeat after back to back losses against Al Ahli Tripoli of Libya.
“There is a time when you have to make a thouroguh analysis of yourself, a critical look at your position. Caps United are big team with expectations, so I think there someone out there with the capacity to take the team to another level,” said Chitembwe.
Caps United needed a confidence boosting victory ahead of Sunday’ s CAF Champions League fixture against Zamalek at the National Sports but they fluffed a number of chances before Yadah FC seized the game.
They remain 14th and 15 points behind log leaders Ngezi Platinum.
