Chitembwe Castigates "Immature" Murape

CAPS United coach Lloyd Chitembwe believes Murape Murape still has a long way to go in coaching , after the Dynamos assistant coach was sent off for taunting the opposite bench in the 3-3 draw at the National Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Murape Murape taunted the CAPS United bench after Dynamos scored the third, leading to fourth match official Nomore Musundire to signal referee Ruzive Ruzive to eject the former midfielder from the bench.

After the match Chitembwe and his assistant Mark Mathe rushed to confront Murape but were restrained by Dynamos coach Lloyd Mutasa.

“He still has a long way to go in coaching. He needs to mature and differentiate between the behaviour of a coach and that of a player. He still thinks like a player and he needs to change his behaviour. He lacked sportsmanship, as a coach you don't behave that way," said Chitembwe.

The temperamental Dynamos assistant coach once had a clash in the media with former Dembare defender Norman Togara who told him to slow down on his utterances.

Murape was recently sacked by the Dynamos executive over utterances  he made in the media  before the decision was overturned by board chairman Bernard Marriot.
