Zimbabwean international Edmore Chirambadare scooped the Most Improved Player award at the Kaizer Chiefs awards held in Kayalami on Thursday evening.

The former Chicken Inn player had an impressive first season at Chiefs and walked away with the R30 000 prize money.

Former Warriors midfielder Willard Katsande could not retain the Player of the Season award which went to Siphiwe Tshabalala.

Katsande made a virtual clean sweep at  last year’s awards as he scooped Player of the Season, Players' Player of the Season, Online Player of the Season and Fans' Player of the Season.
