Chihoro Still Believes

LONG serving Dynamos team manager Richard “Nyoka” Chihoro still believes DeMbare can bounce back and grab the 2017 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League title despite a dip in form that has seen the former champions going for three games without a win.

Last Saturday’s 0-2 defeat to Ngezi saw the Glamour Boys drop from second to third on the table.

The defeat in Ngezi followed a drab 1-1 draw against Tsholotsho FC which succeeded another lifeless show in the 1-1 share of spoils at ZPC Kariba.

DeMbare are now two points off the mark going into the last four games of the season.

They play Chapungu at home on Sunday.

“There are tricky matches ahead because everyone wants the points. We have to find our way back to the top.

“The good thing is that the Platinums will face each other at some point,” said Chihoro.

“What we need is to focus on winning our games and whatever result in that match, we have to capitalize on that.

“But for now the focus is on winning the next game against Chapungu,” Chihoro said.

DeMbare will also play Bulawayo City, Bantu Rovers away before closing the season with a home game against Chicken Inn.
