CAPE TOWN – Zimbabwe finished third at the Assupol Sevens International tournament after they beat Western Province Invitational 17-10.

This was their only win in the six team international category having lost twice to Western Province and South Africa, finishing bottom of Pool A.

Result: Zimbabwe 17, Western Province Inv 10 (third place Play-off); Zimbabwe 12, Western Province 19; Zimbabwe 0, South Africa 48
